FAQs

Do I need a finished presentation before booking?

No. A rough idea of what you want or even a sketched concept is fine. The session is designed to improve what you already have, whether that is a complete presentation or a messy work-in-progress.

Can you help if my designs / creations / slides are rough?

Yes. Rough design development is often the best fit for a rescue session because you are not committed or set on a single idea. Recommendations can be made to fix structure, hierarchy, spacing, typography and consistency.

What kind of footage works for video rescue?

Phone footage, Zoom recordings, webinar clips, interviews and short business updates can all work. Book a Video Rescue session to review your project.

Where can I find more details about the service?

There are guideline documents for both Design Rescue and Video Rescue designed to assist you in preparing for each session and outlining what you can expect.

How quickly can you deliver?

Design help is live at the booked time. Video turnaround depends on the footage and edit requirements, but quick edits are usually planned for a fast response.

Do I need special software for a live session?

No special software is required beyond access to Google Meet and the presentation file you already use. You share your screen and we work through improvements together.

Can I book more than one hour?

Yes. You can book additional time if the presentation is large, urgent or needs a deeper pass. A first hour is often enough to make a clear improvement.

How do you handle confidential work?

The Design Rescue privacy policy outlines behaviours and procedures related to privacy and confidentiality.
